Today we looked at conventions of magazine front covers. A convention is the way in which something is usually done. This is a front cover from VIBE magazine, it is a music magazine from the hip-hop/r&b genre. I am familiar with the codes and conventions of magazines as i studied this in GCSE media. This front cover sticks to many conventions such as the use of cover lines and a cover star however there is no free offers with this magazine.
