CONSTRUCTION: FLAMES FRONT COVER

This is my nearly finished front cover for my magazine 'Flames.'
Since my last working progress I have;

  • Worked out how to place text over the cover stars clothes and still have them visible.
  • Placement of cover lines.
  • Addition of barcode, price, issue number and date.
  • Decided on a font that I put on all over the magazine. It is Poplar STD.
  • Added the guest editor part because all my photography featured lynton.

  1. Your choice of cover lines and cover image are great as they make the magazine cover look professional and your choice of colour scheme is correctly as it brings the magazine to live. But your main cover line over your cover star clashes with the clothes.

  3. the colour scheme of your magazine works well with eachother and it links which makes your magazine look more appealing. one thing i would fix is the picture itself because the exposure of it doesnt make it look nice, it almost looks blue. overall, its a good magazine and looks professional

  4. Your cover page is really good however the sentence starting with "...right now" kind of clashes with the guys jumper. Your colour scheme is really good
